Latest Updates from Our Project:

The Funds Are On Their Way!
over 6 years ago – Wed, Aug 21, 2019 at 09:14:52 PM

Another update that isn't much of an update, but I finally got the email from Kickstarter outlining the deductions and informing me that the transfer process has begun, and shouldn't take longer than a few days!

That means things can start happening soon! :D

I'll post another update as soon as I have more news!

Backerkit!
over 6 years ago – Fri, Aug 16, 2019 at 11:37:34 PM

Hey all, not much to report on this update besides the fact that I spent much of this week talking with the folks over at Backerkit, and it looks like I'm going to be implementing their services in order to better manage my workload, especially come fulfillment time! The nice thing is that this means an add-on store will be available, where you can choose to pick up extra copies (for those folks who expressed the desire to do so.)

Besides that, still no sign of the KS funds, which means we're still playing the waiting game.

I'll post another update as soon as there's a reason to!

Timeline update!
over 6 years ago – Thu, Aug 08, 2019 at 08:14:08 PM

Hello, all!

We've all had experiences with Kickstarter campaigns that have involved a lot of silence and a lot of questions marks, and my goal moving forward is to do my damndest to not be one of those campaigns.

I'll be as transparent as possible, and will be making regular updates!

The first update is to the timeline. As of right now, here's what it looks like:

1 - Sometime between now and two-ish weeks from now, the KS funds come in.

2 - Once the funds come in, most of them turn around and go out. This pays for: The cover art, Tablo's services, and the print run.

2.A - Sam expects that the artwork will take roughly two weeks to complete once she is paid.

2.B - Tablo expects that their revision process will take roughly 2-3 days to complete once they are paid.

2.C - Tablo expects the total print time for books to be roughly 3-4 weeks start to finish once they are paid.

Of course, there are a few elements of overlap - for example, the printing process can't begin until the artwork is complete (obviously), which means that 2.C can't even begin until 2.A is completed.

This could potentially bring us to as far as mid-September by the time the books are printed and shipped, which is still well within the constraints promised on the campaign page.

I think that's all the updates I have for now, but as always if you have any questions, do NOT hesitate to ask them! I'll be keeping a constant eye on this page for exactly that reason!

The next steps on my end are to put together the surveys for shipping information and have those sent out, which I'm aiming to have done by tomorrow.

It's over, we did it!
over 6 years ago – Wed, Aug 07, 2019 at 07:11:59 PM

With the help of 207 of you, it is done.

This campaign was a complete success, and it's all thanks to each and every one of you.

Thank you.

I'm going to post an update a little bit later today that better outlines the timeline moving forward, and look at putting together the shipping surveys as well as outline what kind of 5e content you can all expect to get free as part of that stretch goal.

The immediate plan is:

-Custom sheets for the characters from the book

-Custom feats stemming from the world

-Some monsters

Maybe more? The longer it takes for things to get sorted out on the Kickstarter side of things, the longer I'll have to put together some more things!
